From Mrs. Margaret Kimbrough:

November is a time when we think about the things for which we are thankful. As I consider the great responsibility of influencing children with the knowledge of Jesus Christ, I am thankful that God has given me the opportunity to work with the children in Awana and to point them to the Lord and encourage them to learn His Word. Whether you are a parent or an Awana leader, you should be grateful for the trust God has placed in you when He allowed you to have such an impact on the lives of His precious children. Jesus loved the children and told His disciples, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”  Parenting and teaching children is a blessing. When you give thanks for all of your blessings, thank God for the children that He has entrusted to you. What a blessing!

Thank you, Mrs. Margaret, for encouraging all of us to remember His blessings! 🙂
