W.O.W… :)

An amazing amount was raised last night for our Awana Missionaries, J.J. and Laura Gillette! The total from all 4 clubs (Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T) is $332.50! Woo-hoo! Everyone who gave something is a huge part of the wonderful blessing that we can give to the Gillettes! We praise God for the blessing to them and their 4 young boys! 

The deadline for Grand Prix car orders has been extended by one week to Jan. 25th because of technical difficulties yesterday to the ordering page online. We apologize for any inconvenience and should have the link working on Friday. Thank you for your patience!

DOLLAR NIGHT

It’s DOLLAR NIGHT at Awana Clubs! This theme night is very easy…please bring a dollar tonight to bless our Awana Missionaries, J.J. and Laura Gillette! Sparks and T&Ters get 50 points for participating in this theme night, but we would love for ALL clubbers and leaders to bring a dollar!

2012 has arrived! We pray for a very blessed year for your family!

Awana Clubs will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 4th. We can’t wait to see everyone and find out what amazing things that the LORD has done in your lives since we saw you in December! Thank you for allowing us the privilege of having your child(ren) with us at Judson in Awana Clubs this year!

Birthday Party for Jesus on Dec. 14th!

We are very excited about the Birthday Party for Jesus this Wednesday!

1. Check-in and pick-up will be at the regular times and locations.
2. Please have your child(ren) wear their uniform. Leaders, too!
3. Sparks and T&Ters Leaders, please remember to bring a finger food snack.
4. Puggles and Cubbies Leaders: your snack will be provided and brought to your class.
5. Parents, if you have a child with food allergies, please bring a special snack labeled for them.
6. Puggles will work on their verse together and have a snack in their room.
7. Cubbies will say Special Day #2 and have a party in their rooms.
8. Sparks and T&Ters will not say any sections and do not need their handbook or Bible.

SPECIAL NOTE: We also want to bless our Awana Clubs local missionary this Christmas. We have a $1 challenge for every person! We are asking everybody from Puggles to T&T, including all Leaders, to try to bring one dollar for the Gillette family and turn it in at check-in. Please do not feel pressured to bring $1, nor feel limited to $1. This is simply a Christmas blessing offering to our Awana Clubs missionary and his sweet family.

UPDATE: What an amazing amount you brought on Dec. 14th! We raised $334.81 for the Gillette family! Woo-hoo!

Canned Food Night

 Canned Food Night is on Wednesday, November 16^th! Help your child be a missionary by helping those at Western Heights give canned food with the message that Jesus loves them!

Sparks and T&Ters will receive 50 points for participating in the theme night for bringing ONE or MORE cans! Show the cans to the Room Secretary at check-in and then put them into the labeled box outside the Soul Summit Room 3105.

There will be a labeled box at the preschool desk for Puggles and Cubbies to put their cans into.

Please help your child (Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks and T&T) bring ONE can or MORE of the following:

1. ravioli
2. beef stew
3. chicken noodle soup
4. any other canned item
5. jar of peanut butter

Sparks and T&T Open House Night: Nov. 2

Attention all parents/grandparents of Sparks and T&Ters!

Tonight is a time to come to Awana Clubs with your child and see what he or she does while there! And if your child needs to complete the “Bring a Friend” section to earn a “jewel” or “bone” for their badge, your attendance with them tonight will allow them to earn that section.

*NOTE: If you already serve in Awana Clubs and your child still needs to complete the “Bring a Friend” section, he or she will receive credit for it tonight because you are serving as a Leader. We need you to stay with your class instead of coming to your child’s class, please.

Pumpkin ORANGE Night!

TONIGHT ~ October 26: Clubbers and Leaders wear ORANGE with your uniform for Pumpkin Orange Night!  Sparks and T&Ters receive 50 bonus points toward Store Night in May for participating!

Fall Break…

October 19 is Fall Break for Awana Clubs at Judson! Enjoy the week off, but keep on memorizing your verses! When we meet again on October 26, remember to wear ORANGE with your uniform for Pumpkin Orange Night!

October News…

October is here and with it comes several news worthy items in Awana Clubs!

1. Oct. 5: Cubbies Open House – clubbers can bring an adult to “shadow” them for the night to see what they do during club.
2. Oct. 8: ONE MORE Ministry Conference for the Leaders – a note to those registered, we will meet on Saturday at Judson to caravan.
3. Oct. 19: Fall Break – no clubs will meet. Judson Parents who are involved in Bible studies: we will have a F.U.N. Night instead. More info to come on Sunday, Oct. 16th.
4. Oct. 26: Pumpkin Orange Theme Night – wear orange with your uniform. 50 bonus points to Sparks and T&T for participating!
5. All month is Bring a Friend Month for Sparks and T&T. Clubbers bringing a new friend (who has not been to Awana Clubs at Judson before) to any club will receive 50 bonus points for their Handbook section.

InSiDe OuT Night is this Wednesday!

Welcome back to the second night of the Awana Clubs 2011-2012 year!!! We hope you joined us for the GIC last week! We serve an awesome God and He is working through His people in amazing ways!

It is the first theme night of the year on Wednesday(Sept. 21st)…InSiDe OuT Night! Clubbers and Leaders can wear their clothes inside out! (Wear your uniform also!) Sparks and T&T clubbers will get 50 bonus points for participating!
